2012 is a big year for sport; London have the Olympics, Liverpool are back at Wembley, and The OAP has finally accepted a Superstars invitation.
Despite planting the idea for the first tournament back in 2004, the elder Catterfeld has refused all previous invitations, probably due to fear of humiliation. It could be humiliating for this ultra-competitive Superstar but mid-table obscurity looks the best bet.
